Troll Music has been a landmark in Venice musical community for over 30 years. We have realized our dream of having a music store where pro or amateur musicians can come for quality products, instruction, repairs, and musical support.
Troll Music Academy
We can help you reach your dream! Our highly trained select group of teachers offer a wide base of available instrument instruction. Lesson spaces are equipped with new electric pianos, drums, and amps for the optimal teaching experience. All of our students have the opportunity to take part in recitals, clinics and special concerts. Lessons are available both in person and online.

RETAIL
Troll Music has worked hard to find the brands that offer the most. Using our years of experience we want to give you the best quality for your dollar. If you don’t see it here most likely we can get it. We also buy and sell used gear which brings a lot of interesting vintage gear to our showroom. There’s no reason to shop anywhere else!
RENTALS
When it comes to rentals we really do have it all. Through our partnership with Veritas, we can offer affordable monthly rates on band and orchestra instruments. The rental program is a convenient “rent to own” program. Troll Music also provides rentals on guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, lights, PA systems, wireless microphones. A valid driver’s license and credit card are required for all rentals.
REPAIR
Our experienced repair team has years of experience repairing, restoring, and maintaining instruments and electronic equipment. From fretted instruments, brass, woodwinds to guitar amplifiers and PA equipment, we can repair most brands. Whether your instrument needs a lot or a little- we can help. Guitar and bass work is done in-store. Our other experts will pick up and return to the store.
EVENTS
The Troll Music performance venue is a listening room where we host live musical events and more. We have taken great steps to create a space where an audience can enjoy music and the arts as they were meant to be enjoyed. If you love live music, comedy, and live theatre this is the place to be. Troll Music has been a landmark in the Venice musical community for over 30 years. Realizing a dream of creating a music store where the local music community can come for quality products, great musical advice, high-level instruction and repairs. Troll’s first location was in a small storefront under the Venice Avenue Bridge, making the name choice of “Troll Music” an obvious one. Today we are prominently located at 628 E. Venice Avenue.
Troll Music has withstood the test of time and is always striving to provide everything a music store can offer in a friendly atmosphere. We have maintained a high level of quality and value that is well respected in our community. We take pride in our ability to provide knowledgeable face-to-face support from experienced industry professionals.
